Residential workshops · Ham, near Sandwich, Kent

The Blazing Donkey is an old set of weatherboarded buildings down a lane between Sandwich and Deal. It has been a good many things; it is now a house given over to residential work.
Work that goes anywhere needs people to stay in it — through the evening, through the awkward hour after dinner, through to the next morning. That is why this is a house with beds and a kitchen rather than a room hired by the day. No other party in the building, no passing trade, and a lane that is the only way in.

One large room for the group. Smaller ones for everything else.
The main hall clears to a full circle under an open beamed roof. Around it are snugs with fireplaces and doors that shut — for pairs work, one-to-ones, or someone who needs ten minutes without leaving the building.

Not sure which of those you are?
Plenty of people are somewhere between the two. Say roughly what you are after and we will point you the right way.
